Applicants must be full-time graduate students and submit the following:

 

- A proposal of at least two pages

- Timetable and budget explaining how the scholarship will be spent

- Letter of recommendation

- Curriculum vitae

- Set of transcripts (can be unofficial)

 

Applications for the academic year 2024 must be submitted by April 15, 2024. (Please note: incomplete applications will, by default, not be considered!)

 

The proposal should establish the scholarly contribution and significance of the project, its relevance to the applicant's professional goals, and progress already made.

 

The recipient of the $2,500 research scholarship will be expected to attend the International Conference of Netherlandic Studies at Chapel Hill, North Carolina on June 5–7, 2025 to present their research. The recipient will receive an additional travel grant for the conference in 2025.

 

The selection committee will consist of members of the AANS Executive Council. The scholarship recipient will be notified by May 1, 2024.
