Dutch 111 (Grad 511): First Special Speaking and Reading Course
4 credits, M-Th, 9-12 & 1-2, 6/25 - 7/17/2008
This is an intensive course for students who have no prior knowledge of Dutch. The focus of the course (e.g. speaking vs. reading) will be determined by students' interests. From everyday conversations, grammatical explanations, exercises, cultural discussions and homework, the student will get a wonderful introduction and first step into the Dutch language and the Dutch speaking world.

Dutch 112 (Grad 512): Second Special Speaking and Reading Course
4 Credits M-Th 9-12 & 1-2 7/21 - 8/12 2008 Prerequisites: Dutch 111 or Permission of Instructor
This course, a continuation of Dutch 111, proceeds with the basics of the Dutch language and culture. We continue with CODE, the latest computer enhanced course with emphasis on practical tasks and routines, everyday conversation, a grammatical explanation, exercises, and a comprehensive vocabulary list.
