AANS Announces 2008-08 Scholarship Winner

The recipient of the AANS scholarship for the academic year 2008-2009 is Ms. Lorena Baines. Ms. Baines is a PhD student at the University of Delaware. She plans to use the grant for a summer research trip with visits to Denmark, The Netherlands, and Belgium. Her research focuses on the prints of the Flemish engraver Nicolaes de Bruyn (1571-1650), and the title of her dissertation is: "Nicolaes de Bruyn and the Art of the Professional Engraver". AANS wishes Ms. Baines a very successful research trip and we thank the members who have contributed to the AANS scholarship fund.
